Malawi Amateur Radio League
The Malawi Amateur Radio League (MARL) is a non-profit organization representing the interests of amateur radio enthusiasts in Malawi. The MARL advocates on behalf of its membership and all licensed amateur radio operators in Malawi as the representative of amateur radio to Malawian Government authority the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA)
This includes promotion of deregulation and simplification of the amateur radio services, and expansion of the number of amateur radio operators in Malawi. The MARL publicizes and promotes the role of amateur radio in society and promotes the use of amateur radio in schools as an entry point into the fields of science and technology. MARL is the National Member Society representing Malawi in the International Amateur Radio Union (IARU)and is a Member in a Member Society of the IARU Region 1
